At Hamil Bros Studios, we recently embarked on a remarkable journey with the Hispanic Association of Women (HAW), alongside the esteemed Liggett Law Group. Our mission: to encapsulate the spirit of empowerment and philanthropy through the lens of video production.
Our partnership with HAW began last year when we were introduced to these remarkable women. This year, we were thrilled to collaborate once again, this time delving into an exciting new venture with the Liggett Law Group. The resulting video, a testament to the power of collaboration and vision, showcases the transformative impact of their work.
With a tight timeline looming over us, we plunged headfirst into the production process. Conducting interviews with past HAW recipients and current members was our first order of business. Jacqueline Vega, gala chair, facilitated our shoot at the spacious Chez Sami Downtown, providing ample room for creativity to flourish. Larger spaces allowed us to optimize lighting, ensuring visually captivating interviews that resonate with viewers.
One of the highlights of this project was filming with Ted Liggett, who shared poignant insights about his mother, Cordy. Ted’s storytelling prowess breathed life into Cordy’s inspiring legacy. It’s moments like these that remind us of the profound impact storytelling can have on fostering connection and empowerment.
