Episode 2 was an interesting episode, for sure. We got to hear Arnis and Mallory Robbins from Evie Mae’s Pit Barbeque and how their world has changed. What I really love about them is that they are incredibly down to earth, awesome, genuine people. They’re a really great representation of a lot of us small businesses in the area.
Mallory and Arnis are, like I said, genuine. In this episode they really dive into how they approached the changing atmosphere. They’re an amazing BBQ restaurant that encourages community and social distancing makes that nearly impossible. Lubbock showed up for barbeque like any good Texas city would. They adapted! They’re really amazing people and if you’re around Lubbock, we encourage you to go get some good ole pit BBQ.
